TR: Hardware Base Update, EMP Missile and Volley Upgrades, and more – June 10th Patch Notes

New this week in Thunder Run:

Hardware Base Updates

Attention, Commanders! Our spies have reported that our enemies have not taken kindly to their Hardware Depots being constantly sniped, and they have developed a countermeasure that allows their Hardware Depots to be impervious to attacks.

Fear not, Commander, for our intel suggests that these countermeasures are controlled within their Tactical Ops Center. Simply destroy their TOC, and their Hardware Depots become vulnerable again.

Starting June 10th, event bases will have their Hardware Depots “protected” until the TOC is destroyed. This is response to long-time feedback from players who pointed out that raiding Hardware and ignoring the TOC leads to the event base being left intact on the regional map, and thereby preventing new ones to spawn.

Security Node Bug Fix

A bug was discovered where Security Nodes only worked when players were defending against singleplayer defense missions. This has been fixed, and will now work everywhere. Expect fully-upgraded player bases to be much stronger in PvP fights soon.

Moar Hardware Rewards

The above two updates will no doubt come with additional challenges to event bases. Therefore, Hardware rewards on event bases have been increased by 25%. Challenge accepted, Commander?

Alt-Capping in Alt-Allowed maps

Two weeks ago, we have applied account limits to Maps 208 and 210. Starting June 10th, the rest of the maps will have a limit of 10 accounts. This affects maps 215, 222, and 228.

This is not the final account limit. We intend to decrease this at least once more, but do not want to make the changes instantly. Expect a limit reduction before July.

If you have any feedback about this and would like to make your voices heard, please head on over to our Discord server, and leave a reply referencing this message from Nirgal.

EMP Missile and EMP Missile Volley upgrades

Attention, Commanders! Our engineers just had a breakthrough on our EMP Missiles, and they can now have that little extra kick to them. The EMP Missile level cap has been increased to Level 14, and the EMP Missile Volley level cap has been increased to Level 13!

TR: EMP Missile Upgrades, Lone Warrior Boost, and more – May 27th Patch Notes

New this week in Thunder Run:

The “Lone Warrior” Boost

Attention, Commanders! Some of you have slogged through the warzones of Gundar alone for so long, and we believe you deserve a little bonus. Introducing, the “Lone Warrior” boost!

Commanders going it alone without alts have their unit space limit, unit repair speed, and battalion travel speed will have a small boost!

Alt-Capping in Alt-Allowed maps

Some maps in the game are being updated with account limits.

  • Map 208 is limited to two accounts on the map at the same time
  • Map 210 is limited to five accounts on the map at the same time

For now, the remaining alt-permitted maps are not being limited. We are still inviting feedback on reasonable limits and are considering placing a limit of ten accounts on Map 215 for test purposes.

If you’d like to make your voices heard, please head on over to our Discord server, and leave a reply about this message from Nirgal.

EMP Missile upgrades

Our engineers just had a breakthrough on our EMP Missiles, and they can now have that little extra kick to them. The EMP Missile level cap has been increased to Level 13!

Game improvements

And that’s not all, Commander! We’ve heard your feedback and you are now able to craft your missiles from Weapons Lab easier. Instead of scrolling through the “Weapons” category, there now is a separate category for your missiles.

“Missile” Category now in Weapons Lab

TR: New Missile Silo and Craftable Missiles – May 6th Patch Notes

New this week in Thunder Run:

Craftable Missiles

Hey, Commanders! Ever get tired of stealing missiles from the bad guys? Don’t you wish you had a way to produce your own? Well, now you do!

Our engineers have made some breakthroughs and we now have the ability to research, produce, and launch our very own missiles!

To begin, research any missile from the Weapons Lab. This will unlock the Missile Silo, which you can construct from your Buildings>Production menu. From there, you may research any other missiles you wish to use, and craft them under the “Produce” tab.

Once crafted, you can use them in battle!

Upgrade your Missile Silo for more missile capacity, or upgrade your missiles for more damage and AoE. Note that some higher level missiles may require blueprints purchased from the ONP store to upgrade.

And that’s not all, Commander! For the last week or so, our enemies have installed some sort of mechanism on their missiles that makes them unusable 24 hours after we have stolen them. Our engineers have cracked it, and now any non-crafted missile prizes will no longer have a 24-hour timer.

Speaking of our engineers, they’re also hard at work coming up with new missiles. In the future, we may see mine-busters, ambush/mine-detectors, or even missiles that can break us out of a siege!

Until then, rain hell upon your enemies, Commander!

New this week in Thunder Run:

Welcome to Season 22!

Welcome to Season 22! Going into the new season, all Leaderboards and PvP Points are reset, meaning that it’s a fresh start for YOUR Clan to be the new the dominating Clan of Gundar, and win the Seasonal Clan Tournament Grand Prize of 10,000 Gold for your Clan at the end of the Season in 3 months from now. Does your Clan have what it takes?

New “Ultra Dome” map

Welcome to the Ultra Dome, Commander! This season, we’re adding another Dome map for higher level players. So if you want increased PvP Points, increased Quarry output, and increased event base rewards, this is the map for you!

The Ultra Dome requires a TOC9 or higher to enter, and will be anti-alt and anti-VPN. Should you move out of the Ultra Dome at any point, any accumulated PvP Points will be lost.

Also starting this season, all Dome maps will have no shields or damage protection allowed.

Get ready to rumble in the new dome, Commander!

April Fool’s Sale!

“They said there’d never be a 75% off sale again… But surely we can sneak in a quick one for all of our favorite Commanders to celebreate April Fools Day, right?

From midnight April 1st to midnight April 2nd GMT, take advantage of this explosive 75%-gold sale! After April Fools, a normal 50%-off sale will remain available from midnight April 2nd to midnight April 5th.

This is not an April Fools joke! Or is it?”

Kongregate accounts news

Beginning April 1st, Kongregate accounts will be moved to Kongregate-only maps unless they fit one of the following criteria:

  • At least 6 months old
  • At least Level 6 TOC
  • Have bought gold

Please be aware this is not an April fools joke, but a response to Kongregate accounts being used for alt abuse.

TR: Voice of the Commander Updates, and more – February 4th Patch Notes

New this week in Thunder Run:

Voice of the Commander Updates

We’re celebrating with a quality-of-life update based on your player feedback that’s intended to address a few of the issues and suggestions that you’ve brought forth to us via the “Voice of the Commander” trackers. Don’t see the update you were hoping for in this week’s release? Fear not, as there is still plenty more to come.

For a sneak peak at what’s coming up this season in Battlehouse games, check out the Developer Roadmap in the most recent edition of the Battlehouse Dev Blog.

Chat copy-to-clipboard

Chat messages have been updated. Was that last chat so funny you want to save it forever? Confused if someone using another language is talking trash or feeling friendly? All messages now have a “Copy to Clipboard” feature. You can paste into your favorite translation program or your secret repository of clan messages.

May the ability to translate chat messages bring more understanding and enjoyment of the game rather than less!

New “Repair Base” button

You may notice a new wrench button on your controls. This new repair base feature will allow you to bring back the repair for gold window if you chose “repair slowly”.

It will also inform you via tooltip/hovertext how much gold it will take to fully repair your base.

Best of all, once your buildings hit the free repair threshold, the wrench will turn green, indicating that you can repair all buildings for free with a single click. No more visiting each building in your base and clicking “speed up” when they hit five minutes.

Requirements for next level during upgrade

While upgrades or research are in progress, the resource requirements will now be shown in the Stats window, to allow players to manage their resources more effectively.

Hovering on “Requirements” confirms which level and costs are being shown for.

Level 32 Stinger Turrets

And that’s not all, Commander! Our engineers just had a breakthrough on our Stinger Turrets, and they can now be made stronger than ever. The Stinger Turret level cap has been increased to Level 32!

L32 Stinger Turret Stats

To unlock it, purchase the Stinger Turret Blueprints from the ONP Store, research the tech in your Weapons Lab, and then Equip the new Weapon to one of your Turret Platforms!

For games with more than three rows worth of PvP seasons, the text overlap problem has been fixed and scroll buttons have been added.

TR: Logistics Dispatch Upgrades – January 28th Patch Notes

This weekend in Thunder Run:

Logistic Dispatch Upgrades

Hey Commanders! The Logistics Dispatch has received some upgrades! Starting at TOC L6, you can upgrade your Logistics Dispatch all the way to level 8.

Each new level of the Logistics Dispatch increases the dispatch speed and increases the size of the dispatch rewards. From L2+ the Logistics Dispatch can retrieve Hardware, though this is a very time-consuming operation.

And that’s not all, Commander! All dispatches now receive double the old rewards. Supply dispatches are now available more frequently.

The L2+ Logistics Dispatch center is available today, but you may have noticed that the increased rewards have been around for a couple of days.
