Patch Notes: Days of Valor

New this week in Days of Valor:

Level 14 Sniper

Your Riflemen, Machine Gunners, Mortarmen and even Panzers have already reported for their L14 training. Don’t you think it’s time to let your Snipers hone some training opportunities into their sights?

As with other recent L14 Infantry releases, your L14 Sniper will feature improved stats and no increase in battalion space requirements. As with any improvement in power, there is an increase in cost, production time, and repair time.

The Level 14 Sniper upgrade requires a blueprint that can only be purchased during Hardware Event Weeks in the Hardware Prize Store. We will continue to release similar levels in this catch-up mechanic boost to more core units going forward.

New Warehouse Tabs

Have you been following along with the slew of quality-of-life upgrades we’ve been making to the Warehouse lately? We’re proud to announce one of our biggest Warehouse system updates yet with the all new “Warehouse Tabs” layout. Quickly find the Warehouse item you need most by clicking the desired tab within the Warehouse menu to filter your item sets as shown in the screenshots below.

Elite Mortarman Unit Equipment

Gundar Arms Industries is rolling out a new set of Unit Equipment for the Elite Mortarman, available this week on the front page of the Event Prizes Store:

• Elite Mortarman Laser Sights I – Laser homing technology that increase range by +3%
• Elite Mortarman Ballistic Armor MK I – Improved armor coating reduces damage taken by -10%
• Elite Mortarman AP Ammunition I – The newest grade armor-piercing ammunition increases damage by +7%

Level 14 Panzerschreck

Tanks on the horizon, and it’s raining missiles, hallelujah! Our Panzerschreck crews have hit the gym and retooled their launchers. Their combat effectiveness has never been higher.

As with the previous infantry level increases, your L14 Panzerschrecks will feature improved stats and no increase in battalion space requirements. As with any improvement in power, there is an increase in cost, production time, and repair time.

Hop on over to the Hardware Store to unlock these, while supplies last! They’ll be back again next week, but why wait? Let the enemy tankers enjoy a little misery, courtesy of your new L14 Panzerschrecks.

Elite Mortarman L6 Stat Mods

The Elite Mortarman L6+ Stat Mod Blueprint is now available in the Event Prizes store, allowing you to upgrade the Elite Mortarman’s Health, Damage, Mine Defense, and Blast Defense stats to Level 6. Unlock the blueprint as part of this week’s ONP Event by spending ONP in the Event Prizes store!

NOTE: Due to the Elite Mortarman’s long research time, players who didn’t unlock the L7 Elite Mortarman in the last ONP Event now have one additional week to earn it. Players acquiring it now for the first time this week at L1 will still have enough time to research it up to Level 7 without spending gold, so long as you loot enough ONP in this week’s ONP Event.

Elite M12 GMC Unit Improvements

Welcome to the Age of the Elite M12 GMC. Effective today, the Elite M12 GMC has been granted the following list of buffs and improvements:

• Major stat boosts to Damage, HP, and Blast Radius.
• An added “Impact” effect, which you may recognize from the Elite TOS-1A.
• Both research and build have been reduced, now repairing more quickly than an Elite TOS-1A.

The Elite TOS-1A will still be considered the King of the Motor Pool for most, but the Elite M12 GMC is here to remind us that it’s not going down without a fight. See for yourself with the updated stats screenshot:

Elite Mortarmen

It’s time to go long, Commanders! Long bomb inbound!

Amongst all the new training regimens recently made available to several of our top Infantry in the form of expanded level caps, an all new unit class has emerged, and is available now. Say hello to the Elite Mortarmen!

Features Include:

• The Elite Mortarman fields a powerfully-boosted Heavy Mortar to rain maximum damage upon Infantry, Turret Emplacements, and Armor units.
• Improved warheads deal additional damage over time, shell-shocking vehicles and blinding infantry.

If you don’t obtain the L7 Blueprint before the ONP Event ends, you will be capped at L6 until the Blueprint returns. The Blueprint and Sub-components are cheaper to help out with this, and you will have enough time to unlock all seven levels before the event ends, so long as you crush your enemies and obtain ONP quickly.

If you miss out on the unlock, never fear. We will be fully unlocking the Elite Mortarman later this year for players who don’t complete the upgrades on time. Your technological edge will only last so long, so you’d better take advantage of it!

More Warehouse Improvements

That’s not all, Commanders! We’ve been hard at work listening to your feedback, and making quality-of-life improvements to the game designed to help your gameplay experiences more convenient and enjoyable.

This week we have more updates for the Warehouse:

• Upgrade your Warehouse to Level 15 to take advantage of increased space at a decreased cost than before.
• The Warehouse can be now be used even if it’s being repaired. No more having to wait for your repairs to finish before storing that new and shiny item that you earned upon login.
• The Warehouse stacking limit for 7-day shields has been increased. This was in direct response to feedback we received from you the players on Clan HQ, so keep the feedback coming!
• More Warehouse updates are coming soon!
