DV: Auto-Migrate is Here!

New this week in Days of Valor:

Attention, Commanders!

You can now auto-migrate your Facebook account details over to the desktop client! No more contacting support, no more jumping through hoops, nothing!

Interested? Please follow the steps below based on which scenario fits you.

Scenario 1: You have never tried our client before. Here are three easy steps to do it!

  1. Install client and run it.
  2. Select “Use Facebook” and log in with the account you use for the game
  3. Click Play Now.

Scenario 2: You have tried the client, logged in with Facebook, but have not migrated yet and want to do so. Please follow these steps:

  1. Install the client, and log in
  2. Click Account Info
  3. Scroll down and look for “Auto-Migrate Existing Account”. If it is Off, click on “Click to Enable”
  4. Click Play Now.

Scenario 3: You have tried the client before, but didn’t use the “Login with Facebook” option AND have not yet migrated, please use these steps:

  1. Check if you have a Facebook account associated with your login by going to https://www.battlehouse.com/bh_login/login/
  2. Click the button for the login method you currently use in the desktop client.
  3. Click on “Click here to manage your account.”
  4. If “Linked Facebook Login: (none) appears, copy down the email address that appears further up
  5. Go back to https://www.battlehouse.com/bh_login/login/
  6. Click “Continue with Facebook” and log in with the account you use for the game
  7. Click on “Click here to manage your account.”
  8. If the email address is the same as the one you already had, you’re done. If not, click on “Change” next to your email and enter the one you copied in step 4.
  9. Check your email and click the confirmation link.
  10. Follow the steps in Scenario 2

Note: Please follow the appropriate steps for your situation. As it was before, migrating accounts will result in loss of access of one of the accounts. Due to the technical challenge of unmerging accounts, we will not be able to do this for anyone in the foreseeable future.

Important: If you have already migrated your account via support or the migration tool, do NOT enable “Auto-Migrate Existing Account” on your client.

TR: Voice of the Commander Updates, Facebook Refund Issues – August 4th Patch Notes

New this week in Thunder Run:

Voice of the Commander Updates

Greetings, Commanders!

We’re celebrating with a few quality-of-life updates based on your player feedback that’s intended to address a few of the issues and suggestions that you’ve brought forth to us. But first, we’d like to address a recent issue that you may have already heard of.

Unrequested Refunds

A lot of you have experienced unrequested refunds from Facebook across all of the games. Demanding a refund for gold already spent is a violation of the terms of service, but fortunately we realized this was a Facebook glitch and never issued any disciplinary action to anyone.

This is a Facebook-wide issue affecting dozens of games and tens of thousands of dollars across multiple development companies. Facebook is working on it. In the meantime, if you have a negative gold balance, just sit tight and don’t worry about it.

Elite Units Color Fixes

Not too long ago, we have wrapped up the releases for the Elite Unit skins. Unfortunately, some units weren’t very paintable and thus didn’t display colors all that well. The underlying system for this has been overhauled. The Elite AH-64, Elite M109, Elite Gaz Tigr, and the Elite Nimr, to name a few, now has reworked color variants,

New Scarlet Color Variant for the Elite TOS-1A

The above rework caused an unintended change to the Elite TOS-1A’s default red color. Upon being fixed, we discovered that some actually liked it. Well, you can now get your Elite TOS-1As in bright Scarlet… for free! Just go to your Motor Pool > Paint Vehicles, and TOS it on and enjoy your super-bright rocket artillery!

Desktop Client Improvements

The desktop client now allows you to upload an avatar without having to go to battlehouse.com. This will help players who don’t like having their Facebook avatar skipped when they use the desktop client.

Simply boot up the client and go to Account Info to upload a custom avatar before logging in to play!

Battlehouse.com now allows you to log in with Microsoft. If you use the Windows Store version of the desktop client and would like to access your account info via battlehouse.com, you can now do so.

Don’t see the update you were hoping for in this week’s release? Fear not, as there is still plenty more to come.

FS: Ambush!

This weekend in Firestrike:

Attention, Commanders!

We have been ambushed! A 75%-Off a one-time select gold purchase has caught us off guard! Fortunately, we were able to drive it off, and it has since taken a defensive position on our Store! We won’t be able to take it out until after the weekend, Commander. Would you like to take a shot before then?

If you answered yes, then simply login and follow the “Special Offer” prompts to the Gold Menu to take advantage of it before the weekend is over. Scoop up that gold while it’s hot!

DV: Voice of the Commander Updates – July 14th Patch Notes

New this week in Days of Valor:

Voice of the Commander Updates

Greetings, Commanders!

Today is a different kind of “Voice of the Commander” day.

Usually, we’d celebrate with a quality-of-life update based on player feedback. It still is player feedback for today, but in a different way.

For the past few months, the gifting system has been popping in and out of existence. Unfortunately, this is due to Facebook breaking something on their side, and is not something we are able to fix on ours.

So we’ve been looking for ways to break free of this reliance on Facebook, and the first step to do that is now here: the “Friends” bar will now show clan members!

A transparent clan logo on a player in your friend bar will indicate that they are a clanmate.

As mentioned before, this is just the beginning. This will be developed further down the road, so stay tuned for more updates!
